The Cathedral Church of St. Paul (Episcopal) is having their 54th Annual Veterans Day Service at 4 p.m. The cathedral is located at 4800 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI. The featured speaker this year is Rev. David Peters, former Army Chaplain and minister to those at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC. The service includes a procession of flags from veterans and lineage groups as well as national anthems from England, Canada, and the United States. The bagpipes, choir, and other music and traditions make it a memorable service for all. Please join Piety Hill and other DAR and veterans’ groups in honoring our veterans. You do not need to make a reservation to be in the congregation.
